HSE for Safety Delegates and Managers including Classroom Session
This course is a combination of the e-learning course "HSE for Safety Delegates and Leaders" and a 1-day classrom session. It will comply with the Working Environment Act § 6-5 og § 7-4 on training of Safety Delegates and Working Environment Committee representatives. The 1-day session takes place preferably in a physical classroom, where topics from the e-learning course will be deepen further, in example through cases and group discussions. The training will be adapted to the company's needs and preferences.
The course is designed to improve the participants' ability to handle HSE challanges in their daily work and provides reasons for why this work is both useful and profitable. The participants are introduced to the most important principles and methods within HSE work. The course provides a theoretical fundation in HSE, all the time with a clear view of how the work with safety, health and environment is planned and carried out in practice.

The course will comply with the Working Environment Act, § 6-5 and 7-4, on training for Safety Delegates and WEC representatives, when combined with a 1-day classroom session.
Further, the course will give:

Introduction to HSE for Employees
This course is intended as an introduction to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in working life. It is designed with new employees in mind who have no previous work experience, or who have not had any training in HSE work. The course will provide participants with basic competence as a starting point for dealing with the HSE challenges in their daily work. The course also provides information about the most important formal framework that regulates HSE work. The intention is - in addition to providing basic HSE education - to create interest and motivation to work with HSE in the workplace.

Risk Assessment of Chemical Health Hazards using ChemiRisk
This course provides an introduction to chemical management, risk assessment of health in relation to work with chemicals. The course is based on the use of ChemiRisk as a tool for risk assessment and CHESS as chemical database. The course will give you the background you need to:
- Understand basic concepts necessary to carry out a chemical health risk assessment
- Understand basic principles for chemical management and use of the chemical database
- Carry out a risk evaluation of work with chemicals using ChemiRisk
- Use and administer chemicals in the common database (CHESS)
COURSE CONTENT
- Theory: gives the theoretical background needed to carry out a chemical health risk assessment. The lesson will also briefly explain what a safety data sheet is, what a chemical database is, and present various aspects of risk evaluation.
- Chemical Inventory: introduction to CHESS and what you can use this system for as a HMS coordinator.
- ChemiRisk: presentation of the risk evaluation tool, ChemiRisk and how to use the tool in risk evaluation of work with hazardous chemicals.

After completing the module, participants will have sufficient knowledge to carry out own chemical risk evaluations, and contribute to chemical management in the company.
